Leg Lymphedema, Low Back Pain, Sciatic Pain, Difficulty Falling Asleep, Thyroid Disease, Endometrial Cancer
Ruth (see #360 4-5-2014) has right leg lymphedema secondary to a hysterectomy and removal of her lymph nodes. She has pain and discomfort in her leg which feels like needles. She also experiences itching and heaviness in her leg. The pain is worse if she sits or walks a lot. She also has low back pain. The pain in her low back radiates down her right sciatic nere. She suffers from this chronic pain everyday. She has difficulty falling asleep at ight for the past few years.
