Theresa was diagnosed with ataxia in 2008 and it has affected her speech, gait, concentration, and muscle coordination. She first came to see Dr. Tong in August 2012. She has had multiple consultations with different neurologists who have prescribed her with medications which have not provided her with any beneficial outcome. Theresa struggles everyday to keep her balance in control and finds it difficult to execute daily activities such as dressing, brushing, and walking.

Theresa is shown walking before and after her treatment in this video. Following the treatment, she feels more alert, steady, and coordinated. Her shaking also stopped. Since her NBE therapy began with Dr. Tong, Theresa has found gradual improvement in her health.
