EAST - WEST Wellness Pain Center
PREFACE

This web site describes a mind-body mechanism substantiated by irrefutable clinical results which, to my knowledge, have not been achieved by other health practitioners. This information was acquired from 20 years of studies, research, and clinical practice as well as a personal experience of recovering from a major illness.

I became interested in Chinese medicine after medical school, and began practicing East-West medicine in 1974 (initially along with surgical anesthesia). Subsequently I learned a form of meditation called Qigong, and found out how the Chinese discovered the energy system. I acquired the skill to emit energy to treat patients, and as a result became severely ill from the excessive drain of my own life force. I gradually nourished myself back to health by innovating an East-West therapy call Neuro-Bioenergetics (NBE), along with herbs, nutritional supplements, and other natural remedies. Much of the presented information is derived from the experience of treating myself and my patients.

The mind body mechanism described conforms to the paradigm shift of science from a material model to an energetic concept initiated by Relativity and quantum mechanics. An abundance of PSI data affirms this paradigm shift in medicine. The critical factor lacking is clinical proof, which is provided in this web site. The details of this new knowledge will be elucidated in scientific articles and a book I am writing.

SCIENCE AND COMMON SENSE

PHYSICAL VS. ENERGETIC MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE

Modern medicine, based on the Newtonian concept that the universe is composed of discrete solid objects, regards the human as a mechanical body which can be divided into parts and treated independently. Einstein repudiated the Newtonian model with his Relativity theory, which revealed that the universe actually consists of interconnected energy systems of which the human is but one example.

The ancient Chinese first observed this dual existence and called it the Yin and Yang phenomenon.

                                                                 E   =  mc2                                      c = speed of light

      Energy  =  matter x (c)2

                                                               (wave)  < = >  (particle)

PHYSICAL VS. ENERGETIC MODEL OF THE HUMAN

In the human, the physical aspect is the body and energetic aspect is the mind and spirit. The mind and spirit parted governing elements which provided life essence for the organism. Every disease also has a physical, emotional, and spiritual element, which is not in harmony with the whole.

Spirit   <------->  Mind  <-------->   Body

All organisms have the ability to self-repair. Moreover, this innate healing can only be accomplished in a living organism. Hence, something in the living system is critical in health maintenance. This healing element, therefore, must be energetic in nature because a dead body, while having all of the physical components of the living counterpart, cannot heal. Furthermore, there is a drastic loss of energy at death associated with the loss of mental faculty and healing ability, but no physical changes, including the brain and DNA molecules.

This implies that our innate healing resides in the mind and spirit.

HEALTH REQUIRES A BALANCE OF THE PHYSICAL AND ENERGETIC ELEMENTS

In reality, health requires the harmonious cooperation of both healthy spirit/mind and body, because proper functions of the body is needed to acquire energy to sustain life. The following pages provide a simple description of the healing mechanism. The fallacy of conventional drugs and surgery, as well as inappropriate use of alternative therapies, including nutritional supplements, is also elucidated.
