The Energy Paradigm

PHYSICAL VS. ENERGETIC MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE

Isaac Newton

Modern medicine, based on the Newtonian concept that the universe is composed of discrete solid objects, regards the human as a mechanical body which can be divided into parts and treated independently. Einstein repudiated the Newtonian model with his Relativity theory, which revealed that the universe actually consists of interconnected energy systems of which the human is but one example.

Albert Einstein

Moreover, the complementarity principle of quantum mechanics, derived from the fact that subatomic elements are both particles and waves, posits that all matter has both a physical and energetic aspect. The ancient Chinese first observed this dual existence and called it the Yin and Yang phenomenon.

E         =  mc2

Energy    =  matter x (speed of light)2

(wave)  < = >  (particle)

PHYSICAL VS. ENERGETIC MODEL OF THE HUMAN

In the human, the physical aspect is the body and energetic aspect is the mind and spirit. The mind and spirit parted governing elements which provided life essence for the organism. Every disease also has a physical, emotional, and spiritual element, which is not in harmony with the whole.

Spirit   <------->  Mind  <--------> Body

All organisms have the ability to self-repair. Moreover, this innate healing can only be accomplished in a living organism. Hence, something in the living system is critical in health maintenance. This healing element, therefore, must be energetic in nature because a dead body, while having all of the physical components of the living counterpart, cannot heal. Furthermore, there is a drastic loss of energy at death associated with the loss of mental faculty and healing ability, but no physical changes, including the brain and DNA molecules.

This implies that our innate healing resides in the mind and spirit.
