PMS Chronic Pain, Depression, Endometriosis - (Kathy, see #82 7-20-02, from Costa Mesa, CA - Office work) - For the last 33 years, Kathy has suffered from bad female problems including PMS, chronic pain before her periods, and depression.  She has consulted nutritionists who prescribed her supplements, OB-GYN doctors, and conventional doctors who suggested surgery.  Her doctors performed a barrage of tests including CT scans and MRI and came to the conclusion that she might have colon cancer.  She then went through barium enemas and a colonoscopy.  Her medication included hormone replacement therapy, medication for her pain, depression, and stomach pain.  Nothing helped her condition.  In fact, she felt sicker.  She had low energy, she was irritable and angry.  A few months ago, Kathy heard Dr. Tong on the radio and decided to consult him.  She has now received 4 treatments.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong the excruciating pain from her period dramatically subsided.  Her pain before Dr. Tong's treatment, which she rated before as 10 is now down to 3.  Kathy also noticed that Dr. Tong treats the cause of a disease rather than merely treating the symptoms.  She also noticed that Dr. Tong is interested in what happens in her life, since stress from life causes many of the physical illness.  He helped Kathy dump all her "emotional trash" that was building up inside of her and helped her to deal with her anger and depression.  She is doing much better emotional and is now off all of her medication and hormone replacement therapy.
Respiratory Bronchial Infection, Sinus Pain, Rib Pain - (Beth from Irvine, CA - Teacher) - Beth suffered from a severe upper respiratory bronchial infection last November.  Her coughing was so severe that she broke 7 ribs from the force of her cough.  She went to conventional doctors who performed diagnostic tests on her to rule out diseases and was given antibiotics to control her infection.  The antibiotics took away the initial infection, but it kept recurring.  In addition, she had severe pain in her ribs.  Her friend recommended that she see Dr. Tong.  She had her first treatment with Dr. Tong yesterday.  She can now breathe deeper, her sinus pain is gone, and her rib pain has subsided considerably.  She also has hypothyroidism.  However, after her first treatment with Dr. Tong, her energy has also increased.
Avascular Necrosis - (Barbara from Irvine, Ca - Retired) Barbara was diagnosed with avascular necrosis in both her hips on March 1st.  She consulted 5 orthopedic surgeons, saw Dr. Lieberman of UCLA, and consulted specialists at UCI as well.  They recommended that she stay off her legs and told her that she needed surgery for her severe pain to go away.  She opted against these treatments and instead went to an acupuncturist.  She had 7 treatments of acupuncture which helped immensely.  However, she was driving one day past Dr. Tong's clinic and decided to see what anesthesia could do to help severe pain.  She had her first treatment with Dr. Tong last week and felt so good that she overdid it.  Her range of motion increased greatly and she decreased many of her medication.  She has decided to continue treatments with Dr. Tong.

High Blood Pressure - (Stella from Nigeria) Has suffered from high blood pressure for 10 years and has been taking medication (4 different meds per day).  Four years ago, her blood pressure shot up to 200/100 and she was taken to the emergency room and given morphine to help bring her blood pressure down.  Last year, she heard that her friend, who also suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes, consulted Dr. Tong and no longer has high blood pressure or high blood glucose levels (see #41 7-14-01, #48 9-8-01).  So Stella decided to come to Los Angeles and see Dr. Tong.  She also suffered from body pain and pain in her joints for the past 4 years, which did not allow her to walk for long distances.  She also had headaches as a side effect of her blood pressure medication, blurry eyes, swollen ankles, and trouble sleeping.  After consulting Dr. Tong for one month, Stella's blood pressure has dropped from 190/90 to 125/60 and she has dropped on of her medications.  Her pain has decreased dramatically and her eyes are now clearer. She is returning to Nigeria but will return occasionally for tune ups from Dr. Tong.
Stomach Pain - (Cheri, see # 13 12-16-00, #20 2-10-01, #43 7-28-01, #95 11-2-02, #161 7-10-04, #164 8-7-04) - Sherri moved to Nevada and recently had a gallbladder surgery 5 weeks ago because of gallstones.  However, after the surgery, she still had so much pain in her stomach that she couldn't eat.  She came back to see Dr. Tong yesterday and is doing much better.  She can now eat without pain and will receive a few more treatments from Dr. Tong before returning to Nevada.  (Sherri first came to see Dr. Tong in October of 2000 for a lypoma in her leg which was extremely painful, back pain, candida, depression, and severe fatigue.  She no longer has the lypoma and her energy level has increased dramatically.  She has been a new person ever since seeing Dr. Tong)

Severe Lung Infections, Lung Cancer - (Midge, see #66 2-2-02, #77 5-4-02, from Irvine, Ca - retired school teacher) - 85 yr young woman with severe lung infections.  She had lung cancer in 1976 after her husband passed away.  She refused to get chemotherapy and radiation and instead sought natural therapies to treat herself.  She then had recurrent lung infections where she would spit up profuse amount of phlegm. her antibiotics did not stop the infection or help the phlegm and infection.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, her phlegm stopped coming out.  She does not cough severely anymore and she can breathe much better.  She also had heart palpitations and problems digesting.  Her heart palpitation have stopped and she has her appetite back.  Midge feels that conventional doctors know how to diagnose, but they do not know how to fix the problem.  Her other doctors told her to check Dr. Tong's credentials.
Disconnective Tissue Problems, Scleroderma - (Mehdy from North San Diego, Engineer) - Brought his sister, Bita  to see Dr. Tong.  Her sister has been under the supervision of many doctors for the past 2 and 1/2 years.  Two years ago, she started to develop pain in her muscles and organs.  It took 2 years for the doctors identify what she had.  They suggested Lupus because of disconnective tissue problems.  Two months ago, she was diagnosed with scleroderma, which is hardening of the tissue.  She has been under heavy doses of medication.  However, they have not seen any improvement in her condition.  Instead, she has less energy and has become more weak.  They were not helping her with her problem.  They decided to consult Dr. Tong.  After a treatment with Dr. Tong, her foot, which was purple and cold became pink and warm.  The results were dramatic.
Pain, Severe Indigestion, Scleroderma - (Bita, see #81 6-1-02) - She had pain all over her body, her hands, her feet, and her joints.  She also had severe indigestion from her medication.  Now after seeing Dr. Tong, she has no anxiety or depression.  Her pain is gone, and her joints are warmer and more flexible.  She feels wonderful.

Vertigo, Neck Pain, Depression - (Sandy from Huntington Beach)  This real estate agent suffered from her first episode of severe vertigo three years ago.  She became so dizzy that she could not lay down.  After a few days, her symptoms passed and did not recur until a year and a half later.  Last year, her vertigo became constant.  She could not sleep well, because reclining even 45 degrees would make her dizzy.  She had tremendous pain in her neck and back and she became depressed.   She consulted orthopedic surgeons and every specialist she could think of.  She even tried hypnosis and other forms of alternative therapy.  She was put on Vicodin, which did nothing to relieve her vertigo.  She also had x-rays done, which was an awful experience for her, as the room started spinning and she had no control over it.  Her pain was constant.  Sandy heard about Dr. Tong a few years ago and then encountered him on the internet.  She finally came to see him one month ago.  She has had 2 treatments with Dr. Tong and has been symptom free ever since!
Hypomaniac, Severe Depression, Back Pain, Numbness - Marilyn (see #101 1-4-03, #103 1-18-03, #106 2-8-03, from Temecula) This former massage therapist was labeled as a hypomaniac and suffered from severe depression for the past 8 years.  She has had low level depression most of her life and goes through extreme mood swing cycles where when she is in her "happy hyper" she does not sleep and becomes exhausted, and when she is depressed, she will sleep for twelve hours and still be exhausted.  She tried acupuncture 10 years ago and experienced a great increase in energy for a month.  She has also suffered from back problems for 20 years.  She injured her right shoulder, ribs, and experienced arm numbness.  She tried chiropractics (which helped temporarily), physical therapy, had x-rays done, and cortisone shots all to no avail.  Four years ago, she had to quit her job because of the severe pain, which was emotionally hard for her to give up.  In the last 2 years, she also suffered from food allergies and weather related sinus problems.  She consulted an ENT specialist, who ordered an MRI for her and prescribed an inhaler and Claritin, none of which helped her at all.  She has now had 5 treatments with Dr. Tong.  Her energy is amazing now and she can sleep. She is emotionally stable and she has no pain.  Her food allergies and sinus problems are 90% improved and now she can take the Standard Process supplements that she used to get allergic reactions to.  Her sugar cravings are now also cured from taking the whole food supplements that Dr. Tong prescribed.
Severe Lung Infections, Lung Cancer - (Midge, see #66 2-2-02 see# 78 5-11-02)  This 85 year young lady used a whole box of kleenex on her first visit to see Dr. Tong because she was continually spitting up yellow mucus and phlegm.  Her mucus problem is now minimal.  Midge also had liver and gallbladder problems.  However, since seeing Dr. Tong, her liver enzyme tests have become more and more normal.  She is trying to get Medicare to pay for more treatments in the 60 day period so that she can improve faster.
