[Show #43] 7-28-01

Stomach Pain, Swelling and Pain in Legs - (Cheri, see # 13 12-16-00, # 20 2-10-01,#79 5-18-02, #95 11-2-02, #161 7-10-04, #164 8-7-04) - Follow up interview from 2 shows.  Lypoma/tumor 9 X 7 " on left side which is now 95% improved.  She had pain and swelling in her legs.  Previous career as manacurist which exposed her to chemicals caused numbness in her body, which is now also much improved.  She is emotionally happy.  Her eyes have also improved very much, night-blindness is gone, road rage is gone.  Generally much calmer.  Her singing range has also improved (can sing much higher).
Micobacterium Avuim Intracellular of the Lungs - (Saundra, see #12 12-9-00, #17 1-20-01) - Diagnosed with Micobacterium Avuim Intracellular of the lungs, a progressive debilitating lung disease.  Suffered from severe migraines which are now much less in frequency.  In May 01, her blood quit producing red blood cells and her weight dropped down to 98 pounds.  She has experienced much improvement after Dr. Tong's treatments.  Her Hb shot up to 11 and she has gained 12 pounds.

Doris (caller) - Husband has kidney problems and is a candidate for a transplant.  Dr. Tong explains the host vs. graft concept, where human bodies reject foreign objects, and how restoring qi or energy to the kidneys is the key to fixing his problem.  Her friend has been diagnosed with progressive supra nuclear palsy.  Symptoms include degenerative neurological disorder, loss of balance and speech.
High Blood Pressure, Arrythmia, Diabetes, Thyroid Nodules, Neck, Shoulder, and Knee Pain, Sleep Apnea, Carcinoma, and Depression -  (Edith, from Laguna Hills) - This retired housewife has seen Dr. Tong for 2 weeks after complaints of high blood pressure, arrythmia, seven years of diabetes, thyroid nodules, neck, shoulder, and knee pain for one year, sleep apnea, and carcinoma in the skin, and depression.  She was on insulin pills for her diabetes, her blood pressure was 220 (on medication), and her blood sugar was over 220 on insulin.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she stopped all her medication and lowered her insulin from 44 units to 25 units.  Her blood sugar dropped to between 120-140 and her blood pressure has stabilized at 130/80-85.  Her knee pain is now gone.

Infection, MS - (Diane, see #67 2-9-02, from Orange County) - Speech Pathologist for 25 years.  Her physical health was affected by an underlying infection. Doctors could not treat the infection because they could not find it.  Her temperature was always higher than normal.  Thought she had MS (multiple sclerosis).  Went to a neurologist, endocrinologist, internist, and gynecologist.  She suffered from neck, shoulder, knee pain, chronic fatigue/Epstein Barr, was tired all the time, had dry eyes and her hair was falling out.  Her doctors wrote her prescriptions for Valium, Robaxin (muscle relaxant).  Her nutritionist, a PhD found out she had toxicity in her teeth.  Thereafter, she sought a biologic dentist and had all her dental work replaced.  She improved after her dental work, her eyes seemed better, but she was still very tired and depressed.  Went through a heavy metal detox with her chiropractor.  After a few treatments with Dr. Tong, her energy has increased and her symptoms are much improved.
Dawn (caller) - Her son, 16 years old, has posterior urethra valve obstruction which was undiagnosed and did irreversible damage to his kidneys.  Does not want to put him on dialysis.
Chronic Sinusitis, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis - (Robert, see # 48 9-8-01, #68 2-23-02)- Diagnosed 3 years ago with chronic sinusitis.  Was prescribed 5-6 antibiotics, nasal sprays and was on his way to getting a 3rd surgery, before his friend Diane (from above) referred him to see Dr. Tong.  He was extremely skeptical, but after the first treatment, his nose was unclogged and he walked out of the office breathing.  He also suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis in his right knee and lower back.  Today he is not taking any medication after Dr. Tong's treatment.  His blood sugar dropped from 280 to 108, his blood pressure went from 185/105 down to 140/80.  His depression has also been lifted.  He now has a sense of well-being and has control over his health and nutrition.

Anxiety, Panic Attacks - (Holly, from Indiana, see #39 6-30-01) - Continuation from last week.  Suffered from anxiety and panic attacks.  Was prescribed natural hormones by her doctor, 9 days later she walked with a heart monitor for 2 blocks and her heart rate jumped to 160 beats/min.  She was only walking and she felt faint and light headed.  After she stopped taking the hormones, she got better.
Subdural Hematoma, Stroke, Seizure (Vladmir, see #47 9-1-01) - Owns his own horse farm and has been treating his horses with herbs for 27 years.  Three years ago, his mother, Rosa, had a brain surgery and suffered from a subdural hematoma.  She had no feeling in the right side of her body.  Her neurosurgeon stated that her prognosis was bad.  Vladimir insisted that she see an acupuncturist after much resistance from the hospital staff.  After 5 acupuncture treatments, the feeling in her right side was restored.  Rosa has now had 4 treatments with Dr. Tong.  She now has total function of her mind and emotions.  She is now starting to walk and her speech has improved 80%.  Dr. Tong also took her off her brain medications which she experienced 22 side effects.  Before Dr. Tong's treatments, she could not walk.  Now she is walking 500 feet.
Grand Mal Seizures, Epilepsy, Rash - (Dickie, see #46 8-25-01, #72 3-23-02)- Referred to Dr. Tong by Vladimir, for her 53 year old son, Jeff, who has had 4 major head injuries since age 13.  For the past 4 months, he has suffered grand mal seizures and epilepsy every 3 minutes, and has had 2 major falls.  After 3 treatments, Jeff's speech and alertness is much improved, he has not had any major seizures, and his red itchy skin rash has disappeared.
