Petite mal Seizures - (Phil, see #20 2-10-01) - His 9 year old son, Philip started having petite mal seizures at age 5.  They took him to conventional doctors who were experts in the field at UCLA and put him on 9 different medications which turned him into a zombie.  He became so drowsy and dazed from the medication that he was often sent home from school.  The doctors even suggested putting an implant in his brain.  They had given up hope until they found Dr. Tong.  Because Philip was afraid of needles, Dr. Tong had to use techniques other than his nerve block injections and acupuncture to treat him.  Philip was treated with magnetic massage and auricular therapy.  After his second treatment with Dr. Tong, his parents noticed a 50-75% improvement in his seizures.  He was treated by Dr. Tong for about 9-10 months and discontinued treatment one year ago.  Philip is now seizure free.  He is twice as healthy as he was before seeing Dr. Tong.  He is smart and alert, and most importantly, he is learning.  
    Dr. Tong also treated Phil.  Phil made an appointment last year with Dr. Tong for treatment of depression.  However, he canceled his appointment because of his fear of needles.  He finally got the courage to receive treatment.  After his first treatment, he felt 100% better.  He also suffered from inflammed joints, which affected his knees, ankles, wrists, and elbows.  It caused an aching pain in his joints such that it took him a long time to get ready in the morning for work.  After Dr. Tong's 2nd treatment, he has no pain.  His depression has disappeared now after 3 treatments.  He now has motivation to work and he feels completely recharged.  
Diabetes, Chronic Sinusitis, Chronic Pain, Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Asthma, Obesity - (Robert, see #41 7-14-01, #48 9-8-01) Suffered from high blood pressure all his adult life (for 30 years), diabetes for 3 years, as well as chronic sinusitis.  Also suffered from chronic right knee pain from arthritis, chronic fatigue, asthma, and obesity.  After his first treatment with Dr. Tong, he was able to discontinue his blood pressure and diabetic medication.  He also avoided 2 sinus surgeries.  He has lost 54 pounds secondary to following Dr. Tong's recommended diet.   Recently, he took off two weeks for Christmas and got off his diet.  He consequently had back pain, the flu, and abscess in his gums.  After continuing treatments with Dr. Tong, all his ailments improved.  He also had his complete blood work done and all his tests were normal.  He no longer has any depression.

Torn Meniscus (Jeff, from Antelope Valley, Real Estate Agent and Family Grocery Business) - Two and a half months ago, Jeff was scheduled for a right knee surgery for a torn meniscus.  He had consulted an orthopedic surgeon who told him that either he undergo surgery, or drain his knee every 2 months and live with his pain.  One week before the surgery, he heard Dr. Tong's radio show and decided to try his treatments before having surgery.  After 3 treatments with Dr. Tong, he has no knee pain and no swelling.  He has had a 45% improvement with his knee.  He is now jogging on a regular basis and he can kneel and squat down in a catcher position.  He has also experienced relief in his low back, neck, shoulder, and elbow pain, as well as an increase in his energy.  Dr. Tong discontinued his blood pressure medication and now Jeff has no headaches in the morning after his 2nd treatment with Dr. Tong. 
Infection, Multiple Sclerosis, Neck, Shoulder, and Knee Pain, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - (Diane, see #41 7-14-01, from Irvine, CA, Speech pathologist) - Diane consulted 5 different specialists including internists, neurologists, and endocrinologists.  Her physical health was affected by an underlying infection. Doctors could not treat the infection because they could not find it.  Her temperature was always higher than normal.  Thought she had MS (multiple sclerosis).  Went to a neurologist, endocrinologist, internist, and gynecologist.  She suffered from neck, shoulder, knee pain, chronic fatigue/Epstein Barr, was tired all the time, had dry eyes and her hair was falling out.  Her doctors wrote her prescriptions for Valium, Robaxin (muscle relaxant).  Her nutritionist, a PhD found out she had toxicity in her teeth.  Thereafter, she sought a biologic dentist and had all her dental work replaced.  She improved after her dental work, her eyes seemed better, but she was still very tired and depressed.  Went through a heavy metal detox with her chiropractor.  After a few treatments with Dr. Tong, her energy has increased and her symptoms are much improved. Dr. Tong also helped Diane with Feng Shui in her home, which has led her to receive more work, and helped her to meet more quality people in her life.
Autoimmune Disease, Hypothyroidism, GERD, Leg Pain, Back Pain, Sinus Problems, Ringing in Ears, Diabetes Type II, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation - (Charlotte from San Gabriel, Retired) - Housewife who came to see Dr. Tong with a myriad of disorders.  She suffers form autoimmune disease, hypothyroidism, GERD, leg and knee pain, low back pain, sinus problems, ringing in her ears, diabetes Type II, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, irritable bower syndrome, and constipation.  After seeing Dr. Tong, her symptoms have much improved.  Her knees are getting stronger, to the point where she does not need to use her caneall the time.  Her sciatic nerve area is less painful, her nocturia is better, and she can now lift her shoulder without pain.  Previously, she was recommended four different surgeries involving the knee, bladder, sciatic, and shoulder.  After 4 treatments with Dr. Tong she regained her sense of well-being, and is not as negative.  Everything that he has worked on has shown improvement.

Bipolar Disorder, Headaches, Poor Coordination, Memory Loss, Insomnia, Back Pain -(Verlette from CA, Disabled) - Has not been working for 10 years.  Diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 35.  She also suffers from headaches, poor coordination, memory loss, insomnia, and back pain.  She has been treated by conventional doctors who prescribed Lithium, which did nothing to help her symptoms and left her even more confused.  She has had 2 treatments with Dr. Tong and has stopped taking all her medications.  She is now on natural supplements and has experienced some improvement in her condition.  She feels her clarity coming back and her headaches and back pain from a past auto accident are improving tremedously.
Osteoarthritis - (Bob, see #73 3-30-02, from California City, Retired) - Was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the hips, upper legs, and knees 5 years ago.  The pain he experienced in the last two years have been severe.  He has always been skeptical of western doctors and never took the medications that were prescribed to him.  Instead, he learned to "live with the pain," and just suffered.  Because of the pain in his legs, he sat most of the time and the muscles in his legs were starting to atrophy.  He has had 4 treatments with Dr. Tong, and he woke up this morning virtually pain free, whereas in the past, he would always wake up in excruciating pain.  He feels confident that his condition will continue to improve with more treatments.
Severe Lung Infections, Lung Cancer - (Midge, see #77 5-4-02, see #78 5-11-02)- Came to see Dr. Tong for a life threatening liver and gallbladder problem.  After treatments with Dr. Tong, her tests have improved 32-33%.  She was also spitting up phlegm every 2 seconds from recurrent lung infections which she suffered from for 60 years.  The mucus was so thick that she could not talk and her voice was hoarse.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she no longer had the sputum and she could speak clearly.
