Fatigue, Headaches, Neck Pain, Back Pain, Weak Immunity - (Diana) Professional therapist who has dealt with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 15 years.  She works with high school students and was exposed to many different physical and mental diseases.  She experienced so much fatigue and pain that she could hardly get out of bed.  She tried the normal medical route, and said that the physicians only laughed at her.  She also tried the holistic approach which helped temporarily.  The acupuncture she received for 2 years helped temporarily relieve her severe symptoms.  Diana also suffered from neck pain, headaches, low back pain, and a weak immune system, as she would become sick very easily.  For the past year and a half, she has become more and more emotionally withdrawn and depressed.  She tried anti-depressants such as Wellbutrin, which did little to relieve her depression.  She first started seeing Dr. Tong last November.  Her improvements were slow coming at first.  However, in the last two months she has noticed a tremendous difference in her health.  She is emotionally more stable, her pain is much less, and her fatigue is now a minor problem.  When she gets the flu, she recovers much more quickly.  Her outlook in life has also changed.  She feels that there are so many possibilities out there for her now.
Bill (caller) - Was put in the hospital for mental problems and was prescribed Adavan.  He got severe stomachaches from the drug and became addicted.  He was withdrawn, slept a lot, and became paranoid.  Has has suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 30 years and has symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  He also has back pain, stomach pain, and toothaches.

Severe Constipation, Abdominal Pain, Depression - (Jenny, see # 94 10-12-02, #115 4-26-03, #124 6-28-03, #140 11-15-03) 14 year old daughter of Kandra (see Show #74 4-6-02))  who suffered from severe constipation, abdominal pain, and depression due to stress in her life.  She switched from public to private school and her parents were going through a divorce, which caused her symptoms to worsen.  She was so depressed that she wanted to kill herself.  She had no motivation to do anything, no energy, and could not even get off the couch.  She consulted psychiatric therapy which did not help at all.  She was also suffering from insomnia for which she took tranquilizers.  Her mother took her to CHOC and consulted a gastroenterologist who declared that it was her fault she was sick because of her stress.  He gave her a laxative for her constipation, which gave her diarrhea for a day, but did not resolve her constipation.  Nothing was helping her and she was getting more and more depressed.  Fear of needles kept her from seeing Dr. Tong. However, her mother convinced her to try his treatments.  She has been seeing Dr. Tong for 2 months now and she has seen much improvement.  Her whole outlook in life has improved and she is no longer depressed. 
Severe Neck Pain, Depression - (Jane, 22 year old college student of American Intercontinental University) She was in a car accident 6 months ago leaving her with severe neck pain.  She has been struggling with depression off and on for 2 years after being attacked.  A whole year of therapy did nothing to relieve her depression.  In fact she got worse.  She was put on a number of anti-depressants including Prozac which made her tired and lethargic.  She also suffered from nightmares after her attack, which would ruin her whole day.  After consulting Dr. Tong for 2 months, she is no longer on her anti-depressants, she no longer has nightmares, and her depression has lifted.  She suffered from ADD and dyslexia which has also improved, as she can concentrate better in school.  Her extreme PMS has also disappeared, and she has increased energy and motivation.

Shoulder Pain, Back Pain, Depression, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Kandra, see #75 4-13-02, #113 4-12-03)- Kandra has been a patient of Dr. Tong's for 4 years.  She had shoulder pain from working out and her conventional doctors wanted to cut into her shoulder, which she did not want.  She also suffered from back pain for years, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, and her whole body ached.  She had cold sores in her mouth and major PMS.  She finally consulted Dr. Tong and the results were incredible.  She no longer has pain, depression, or fatigue.  Her cold sores have also disappeared.  Her son Michael also saw Dr. Tong for the flu, for which Dr. Tong helped him. Her daughter Jenny suffered from colitis (obstruction of her colon), severe constipation, so extreme that nothing was coming out.  She became so depressed that she wanted to kill herself.  Kandra finally convinced her daughter to receive treatments from Dr. Tong.  After 2 months of treatments, Jenny is no longer depressed and she now even asks Dr. Tong for more shots!
James (caller) - Suffered from prostate cancer and had it removed 2 years ago.  Wants to know about his immune system.  His PSA jumped from 6.5 to 15.  His doctors gave him options to either watch it, remove his prostate, or have radiation.
