September 14, 1999 LUMBAR STENOSIS, SCIATICA, HEARING DIFFICULTY
Emil This 79 y/o man lost most of his hearing due to an injury at age nine. Much of this hearing loss was regained with one NBE treatment. During his initial visits, we frequently had to repeat questions and/or commands, often several times, before he heard them. He says that he can now clearly hear conversations in the adjacent treatment room.
September 14, 1999 MYELODYSPLASIA (follow-up from initial interview on 6/29/99)
Genie This is the patient's third return trip from Northern Calif. therapy. Her energy continues to improve. Blood work is stabilizing. She has also noticed an accelerated growth of hair and nails.

Janie This patient is on her vacation from Denver. For the past year, she has attended a pain clinic 3X/week receiving a combination of anesthetic injections, epidurals, physical therapies, massages, etc. in addition to chiropractic, acupuncture, and herbs. She stated that 4 treatments from us provided more relief than the whole year of her other therapies combined.
September 14, 1999 MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, GENERALIZED PAIN, NUMBNESS IN INFLAMMATION OF UPPER EXTREMITIES, FOOD INTOLERANCE, ABDOMINAL DISTENSION, SEVERE FATIGUE, MELANCHOLY
Liliana Two years of conventional therapy provided no relief for this patient. Moderate improvement was obtained with nutritional therapy involving complicated and frequent adjustment of food supplements. There was no abatement of pain, extremity numbness and weakness, fatigue, abdominal distension and melancholy.
In contrast, three NBE treatments provided dramatic relief of all of her symptoms.
September 14, 1999 FAILED BACK SURGERY SYNDROME X 9 YEARS, DEPRESSION
Michael This Arizona patient has been disabled for nine years due to the failure of conventional therapy to ameliorate his pain from a failed back surgery. Four years ago he came to California and received four NBE treatments, which provided three weeks of relief. For more than two years, he had fought for insurance approval to receive further NBE treatments. Meanwhile, he had become severely depressed due to the pain and insurance problem.
Two NBE treatments again have provided significant relief to him.
September 30, 1999 SLEEP APNEA, SNORING, CHEST PAIN, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, CHRONIC FATIGUE
Angelo This patient's snoring problem was not improved with an apnea machine called CPEP, which costs over a thousand dollars. For years he and his wife slept in separate rooms because of his snoring. He refused surgery, because he knew of cases where surgery not only did not correct the snoring, but also caused a problem with swallowing food.
His problem of sleep apnea, snoring, and chest pain were much improved with the first treatment, and he discontinued using the CPEP. After three weeks of treatment, his snoring is minimal, and the couple now sleep in the same bed.
