October 4, 1999   PAROXYSMAL TORSION DYSTONIA, TORTICOLLIS, SPASM INTERESTING OF NECK, SPINE, AND LEGS DURING SLEEP, ALLERGIES, SPEECH IMPEDIMENT, HISTORY OF TRIPLE BYPASS, ANGINA, ARRHYTHMIA, HYPERTENSION, VISUAL PROBLEMS

Marjorie   This patient had been treated since 1984 by more than 50 neurologists, including evaluation at Scripps Institute and consultation with an expert at NIH. None of the treatments resulted in any improvement. In fact, the muscle spasm and twisting were so severe that they caused a torn knee ligament.

Carole    this patient had four years of excruciating pain aggravated even by slightest movement or air flow.  She was totally intolerant to touching.  Stellae ganglion blocks, antidepressants and other drugs were totally ineffective.  Cervical epidural was required for her to receive physical therapies, which was only minimally effective.
