Insomnia, Hearing Loss, Brain Fog, Memory Loss, Low Back Pain, Rash on Arms, Fatigue - Ophelia (from LA County) suffered from insomnia for the past 3 years. She also had hearing loss in her right ear and she felt that her body was deteriorating. She had a severe brain fog and felt that it was difficult to remember things. She went to regular doctors who told her to expect this to happen and only offered her medication. Homeopathy has helped her but did not solve the problem. She heard Dr. Tong on the radio. After the first treatment, her lower and upper back pain was completely gone. She was sleeping better and the hearing in her right ear has cleared up. She also had red dots on her arm which have also disappeared. She has now had 4 treatments with Dr. Tong and her memory is better, she can analyze things as she did before and can concentrate better.
Hearing Loss, Deafness in Right Ear - Mary (from Phoenix, Arizona) was back to see Dr. Tong on October 5. She had three treatments and to her amazement, her hearing has improved greatly. She can hear without her hearing aids now! At one time she had a 54% documented hearing loss and has had hearing problems for the past 7 years.
Migraine, Stree, Arthritis - Paula (from Corona, CA) has suffered from migraine headaches for 30 years. She was on Sumatriptan and Motrin for her headaches. She also feared taking so much Motrin because she had tumors on her kidneys and did not want to worsen her condition. Paula also has an extremely stressful job. She is in the top 10% in sales but her body has suffered greatly from the stress. After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she has not had a migraine headache and she is off all her medication. Sinus Problems, Failed Sinus Surgeries, Facial Pain, Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections, Otitis Media (Middle Ear Infection) - Christine was a patient of Dr. Tong's 13 years ago. She suffered from recurrent sinus infections and had 6 sinus surgeries before seeing Dr. Tong. She was found to have 40 polyps in her ethmoid sinus and all the surgeries resulted in scar tissue and adhesions. She went through a gamut of tests and doctors including CT scans, MRI's and ENT physicians, all to no avail. After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she already had relief. Within 3 months of Dr. Tong's treatments, she was virtually cured. She also suffered from recurrent urinary tract infections and had 2 urethral dilations done, which did nothing to help. After one treatment with Dr. Tong, her infections were gone. Dr. Tong also treated her 18 month old son at the time for otitis media. He had tubes put in his ear but the infections remained. He would cry incessantly from the pain. After 3 injections, he stopped crying and never had problems again.
Herpes Simplex Virus 2, Low Back pain, Fungal Infection, Diabetes - Eddie came to see Dr. Tong for the above problems. He has had consistent back pain for the past year and a half. He tried conventional treatment, including creams for his fungal infections and medication. After one treatment with Dr. Tong, his back pain was considerably improved and his fungal infection on his back disappeared. The lesions of herpes simplex virus also disappeared.

Throat and Esophageal Cancer, Headaches, Insomnia, Neck pain and Swelling, Bedbound - Buspar's husband has been suffering from throat cancer which was diagnosed in 2003. He was treated at UCLA medical center and went through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical laser therapy. However, the cancer was not eradicated. He was told that he had no hope. His neck was swollen and painful with hard nodules. He could not swallow and receives feeding through a G-tube. He also suffered from severe headaches and could not walk even 10 feet. After 4 treatments with Dr. Tong, his neck has become supple and soft. The swelling has dissipated and he can actually move his neck now. He no longer needs medication for sleep or pain, and his headaches are much improved.
Pancreatitis, Fibromyalgia, Knee Pain, Neuropathy of Feet, Ankle Pain, Memory Loss, Hypoglycemia, Acute Lithium Toxicity, Depression - Mary (see #198 4-23-05, #214 9-3-05, #215 9-10-05, from Raceda, office work) has been dealing with chronic pancreatitis which was not a result of alcohol abuse or gallbladder disease. She also suffered from fibromyalgia which she was diagnosed with at age 21. However, her blood tests have always been normal. She recently had an acute attack of pancreatitis before seeing Dr. Tong. She has been to the ER 5 times in the last 18 months. The ER would only give her Vicodin every time she had an attack and advised her not to eat. She had severe abdominal pain and digestive problems. Eating non-fat yogurt would immobilize her for a few hours and she would be so bloated that she looked pregnant. During acute attacks she was forced to take Vicodin. In the past few years she has also put on 50 pounds and she was always hungry. Any diet she went on, she would still be hungry after an hour of eating. She was told that her body was always hungry because she could not digest any food and not getting any nutrients. Mary also had depression from chronic pain. Her rheumatologist referred her to a specialist who put her on lithium for bi-polar disorder, which she never experienced the manic phase of the disease. She was on the lithium for 17 months and gained 80 pounds, which made her feel even more depressed. She then had gastric bypass surgery and a few months later, she ended up going to the ER in a wheelchair and could not read without a magnifying glass from blurry vision. She was given IV fluids and the doctors missed the fact that she was having acute lithium toxicity. She then fell into a coma for 6 days and had 200 seizures. The doctors told her parents that she would most likely not wake up from her coma and may be in a vegetative state. After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she was able to move much better. She stopped her medication (5 different medications non-stop for over 10 years) 3 days after her first treatment. As of today she has lost 15 pounds since beginning treatments with Dr. Tong. Her hunger and bloating was substantially better and more in the normal range (this was immediately better after the first treatment). Her stamina and energy was also so much better after Dr. Tong's treatments. Her pain now is down to a 5/10, which she hasn't been in 12 years. Ever since her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she has not had a full-blown attack of pancreatitis, whereas in the past she was having an attack every week. She is no longer depressed.
Right Ear Deafness, Shoulder Immobility from Auto Accident - George's mother, Mary, is 85 years old who suffered from a shoulder injury from an auto accident. She has also been deaf in her right ear for the past 5 years. Within 2 minutes of her first treatment, her right ear opened up and she could hear from 5 feet away. After 2 treatments with Dr. Tong, she can actually hear from her right ear. Her shoulder mobility is also improving.

Failed Back Surgery Syndrome - Lois (see #207 7-2-05, from Pheonix, Arizona) had 2 operations for back pain. After her first surgery, her back herniated again 6 years later. She went for her second surgery and subsequently had even more pain in her back hips and legs. She went to medical clinics, tried physical therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractics. She felt better, but the pain would always return. Her neurologist told her there was nothing that could be done for her except for pain pills and anti-depressants. She found Dr. Tong on the web and after her first treatment, she felt a noticeable improvement in her pain. She has been seeing Dr. Tong for 5 months now, initially once a week, and now down to every 3 weeks. Her pain has been significantly decreased and she is feeling 100% better.
Chronic Cough, Diabetes, Neuropathy, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Knee Pain, Neck Pain - Ruth (from Silverlake, CA) has suffered from chronic cough for 4-5 years and has been diagnosed with diabetes since 1989. In 1995 she developed neuropathy of her legs, feet, and ankles. She also had carpal tunnel surgery and kept dropping her plates because of weakness. She was down to 2 plates. In 1958, she fell down bleachers and injured her right knee. A neck surgery caused her to have severe lumps on her shoulders. After treatments with Dr. Tong, she is no longer coughing, she is starting to have feeling in her legs again, her hands are getting stronger, and the pain in her knees and neck have subsided considerably. She also no longer has the lumps in her shoulders. This is all after only 2 treatments with Dr. Tong. In addition, she rides 4 different bus lines, taking 4 hours to get to Dr. Tong's office.
Shoulder Injury, Back Pain, Neck pain, Pulmonary problems, Dizziness, Shortness of Breath - John injured his shoulder, back, and neck area from working out. He developed bizarre symptoms besides pain including shortness of breathing and dizziness. They diagnosed him with brachioplexopathy. He would get short of breath just walking up stairs. He heard Dr. Tong's show several years ago but did not consult him until recently. After his first treatment, he was breathing better. After the second treatment he had no more pulmonary problems and his pain was much improved.
