Spinal Stenosis, Difficulty Walking, Obesity - Grady (from Pasadena, Ca) has not been able to walk without crutches for the past 8 months.  His previous physicians all recommended back surgery, which he refused.  He was referred to Dr. Tong by his friend Criss.  When he first came to Dr. Tong's clinic, he was walking extremely slowly with his crutches.  His gait was very unstable.  In addition, he  had to use his arms or his crutches in order to get up from a sitting position.  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, he got up and walked back and forth across the room without his crutches!!  He could also get up from a sitting position "like a spring chicken" 5-6 times quickly, without using his arms or his crutches.  In fact, two days later, he is still walking better and able to move around more smoothly. Now he is walking around with a walking cane instead of his crutches.      
Multiple Systems Atrophy, Unsteady Gait, Dizziness, Low Blood Pressure, Depression - Timmie (from Costa Mesa, CA) was diagnosed with Multiple Systems Atrophy six years ago.  Her prognosis at that time was a life expectancy of 6 years at that time.  She has been to neurologists and different specialists who basically said that there was nothing they could do to help her because they do not know the cause of her disease.  She has lost her balance and has difficulty walking.  She has generalized body pain.  She has headaches and gets extremely dizzy to the point that she cannot pick things up off the ground.  Her blood pressure is also very unstable.  Her blood pressure was very low, causing her lethargy.  After treatments with Dr. Tong, her gait has slowly improved.  She is no longer dizzy and can now pick things up off the ground.  Her back pain has improved tremendously.  Emotionally she is feeling great.  She is not feeling depressed or hopeless anymore.

Raynaud's Phenomenon (Cold Limbs), Depression, Back Pain, Low Energy (physical and emotional), Spontaneous Pneumothorax, Chest pain, Shortness of Breath, Prostatitis - Jacob (see #172 10-2-04, from West Hollywood, CA) This film maker suffers from cold intolerance in his hands and feet.  His doctor's diagnosed him with Raynaud's Phenomenon, for which they told him to dress more warmly and to overdose on Niacin so that he could be warmer.  He also tried acupuncture once a week for a year, which initially helped him.  However, the effects began to wear off.  He was wearing gloves and hat to sleep from being cold.  He also had back pain and was generally very low in energy and depressed.  He heard about Dr. Tong through the radio and decided to try his treatment.  After his first treatment with Dr. Tong, he was instantly feeling much warmer and he was also feeling much happier, as a side effect, which he did not expect or believe.  Jacob also suffered from spontaneous pneumothorax and had shortness of breath for a day.  He went to the emergency room and told him he had a collapsed lung.  They observed him for a couple of days and he did not feel much better (his bill was $12,000!!)  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, he instantly could breathe better.  Jacob continues to improve and returns to see Dr. Tong about once a month.  His energy is incredible and in addition, he has been able to maintain a very happy and uplifting attitude.  Dr. Tong's treatment of his kidneys also helped him with motivation, procrastination, and will-power.
Joint Pain, Hand Pain, Back Pain, Work Related Pain - Scott has had one treatment from Dr. Tong and his joint, hand, and back pain from work have considerably improved.
Migraine Headaches, Joint Pain, Hand Pain, Back Pain, Work Related Pain - Scott (see #199 4-30-05, from Pasadena, CA) has suffered from migraines and generalized joint and back pain for the past 10 years.  He has been on Imitrex and other migraine medication.  For the past 5 years, he has been seeking alternative forms of treatment.  He has now had three treatments from Dr. Tong and his migraines are becoming more infrequent and he is now off his migraine medication.  His back pain is improving and getting stronger as he has not thrown his back out even with his type of work.  He feels that his back has become more limber.

The "Ferreiro Report" - Dr. Ferreiro is an intern who worked with Dr. Tong for one month in January 2005.  Here are some cases she observed:
Pelvic Pain, Pain with Intercourse, Hormonal Imbalance, Irregular Periods, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Hirsutism - (Andrea, see # 89 9-7-02, #116 5-3-03, #161 7-10-04,  from Rancho Cucamonga) - Dr. Ferreiro is an intern at Doctor's Hospital Montclair who is rotating through Dr. Tong's office this month.  She suffered from irregular periods for 10 years and pelvic pain as well as painful intercourse for 2 years.  She consulted 3 doctors including a gynecologist who diagnosed her with polycystic ovarian syndrome.  She had cysts around her ovaries, causing her much pain.  She was put on birth control, which regulated her period, but did nothing to help her pain.  She had 3 treatments with Dr. Tong in September of 2002 and her pain is now completely gone.  She has not had a recurrence of her symptoms ever since.  
~ Barbara is a woman with scleroderma.  She came in with excrutiating pain in her hands and fingers with severe swelling.  The pain was so bad that she was unable to mover her fingers.  Tears that seemed to be a mixture of frustration and deep sadness streamed down her face.  After her treatment with Dr. Tong, her entire countenance had changed.  She smiled and giggled on her way out of the treatment room.  She was able to move her fingers much more freely than before, and her finger swelling was noticably reduced just a few minutes after treatment!
~ Karen is a woman with hypertension and carpal tunnel syndrome that had left her without the use of her left hand for the last eight years.  After being treated by Dr. Tong, she now claims that she "prefers her left arm" and that she often "reaches for things with that hand without thinking".  Her blood pressure is also well controlled with Dr. Tong's treatments without the need for medication.
~ Joni is a retired teacher and a dancer.  She has arthritis and chronic knee pain, making it difficult for her to dance.  After, being treated by Dr. Tong, her pain was greatly improved and she was able to go Swing dancing the same evening after a treatment.
~ Jerri is a lady with asthma and colon problems, which were much improved with Dr. Tong's treatments.  She also had an ingrown toe nail that caused her excrutiating pain.  She was scheduled for surgery the very next day and after treatment with Dr. Tong, she cancelled the surgery.  Several months later, she still has no problem with her toe.
~ Steve is a gentleman who was treated for what UCLA and Scripts at La Jolla told him was depression.  He was treated at some highly respected research hospitals and was given antidepressants that he claims made him so confused that he  "got lost going to work".  Dr. Tong was able to successfully treat his problems, and Steve has been off of antidepressants for years.  While Steve was being treated, he also related a story about a time that he had a severe case of food poisoning.  He went to Dr. Tong's house for emergency treatment and afterwards, his vomiting and diarrhea completely resolved. Dr. Tong also treated his lactose intolerance - now he can eat ice cream without symptoms and without Lactaid!!

Hypertension, Anxiety Attack, Back Pain, Neck Pain, Insomnia, Fatigue, Nausea - Juanetta (from Cypress see #184 1-8-05, #198 4-23-05) is an ex-private investigator who was diagnosed with high blood pressure years ago.  Last year, she was hospitalized  3 times for her hypertension.  She has tried numerous medications but every one has made her extremely sick.  She also has problems with insomnia and severe fatigue.  The medications she has taken for her hypertension have made her nauseous for the past 6 months.  An auto accident has also left her with neck and back pain.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she was able to sleep through the night.  She is no longer nauseous and her pain is much improved.  Her anxiety is better in that she is more calm and her pain has improved.  Her blood pressure has also dropped.  After her second treatment with Dr. Tong, she states that her psychic ability has returned.  In her work as a private investigator, she assisted in missing persons cases.  Her predictions are now coming back to her, whereas in the past, she lost this ability.
