Stroke, Heart Attack, Pernicious Anemia, Foot Pain, Hypothyroidism, High Blood Pressure, Hearing Problem, Speech Problem, Memory Loss, Toe Fungus, Chronic Smoking, Uncontrollable Bladder/Incontinence, Depression - Marcia, a 62 year old, has suffered from the above problems for many years.  When she first came to see Dr. Tong, she was in a wheelchair status post stroke and heart attack.  She was depressed and a chronic smoker for many years, smoking 2 packs per day.  In August of 2001 after her very first treatment, she could walk across the exam room with very little help.  After a year and a half of treatments (approximately 3 treatments every 2 months), she was no longer depressed, her foot fungus was dramatically improved, the pain and swelling in her legs was cleared, and she was smoking only 2 cigarettes per day.  She was much happier and functioning at a much higher level where she did not lay in bed all day.  She could also walk with a quad cane.  She subsequently did not return for treatments for a year.  In the last month and a half however, her ankles became extremely swollen again.  She was becoming weaker, jaundiced, and began hallucinating.  One of her caretakers, Barbara, then decided that she needed to return for Dr. Tong's treatments.  When she first returned, she was on 13 different medications.  Within a month of treatments, her ankle swelling has reduced considerably.  She is no longer jaundiced and is getting much stronger.  She can even put her shoes on now.  Her bladder control is also better and she is emotionally happier.  
Ganglion Cyst, Chronic Yeast Infections, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration - Rosemary was told by her eye doctor in August 2004 that she was developing glaucoma and macular degenerative disease.  When she was examined the pressure in her eyes were 19 and 20 which was the high end of normal.  She began seeing Dr. Tong in the beginning of September.  After 2 months of treatments, the pressure in her eyes dropped to 13 and 14, without eye drops.  She has also discontinued all her prescribed medication.  Her ganglion cyst and yeast infections also cleared.  She was put on Paxil for depression and regulating the heart, but she no longer takes them and is emotionally happy and stable.

Neck Pain, Low Back Pain, Irritability/Frustration - Kevin (from Irvine, CA) This college student came to Dr. Tong for neck and back pain from chronic stress and anxiety.  He went to the emergency room at UCI twice because his neck pain was so severe.  He was given anti-inflammatories which temporarily helped but made him feel strange.  He also had to wear a neck brace.  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, he had more energy. He also had no neck or back pain.

Depression, Arthritis (Shoulder, Back, Neck), Sinus Infection, Insomnia, Low Energy, Vertigo - Ellen (see #170 9-25-04, from Whittier, CA) suffered from depression for the past 5 years.  Everything was an effort for her.  She would start crying for no reason and wanted to sleep all the time.  Her quality of life was deteriorating.  Her doctors prescribed Paxil, which help very little.  She still felt sad and still had no energy.  Ellen also suffered from shoulder, back, and neck pain for the past 20 years, where she had pain every day.  Vioxx gave her temporary pain relief.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she felt so much better.  After the 2nd treatment, she discontinued her Paxil and arthritis medication and has not needed them ever since.  All of her symptoms, including her pain and sinus infections have been much improved after Dr. Tong's treatments.
Chronic Bronchitis, Shoulder Pain, Neck pain, Back Pain - James (Ellen's husband) suffered from chronic bronchitis for the past 5 years.  His doctors gave him inhalers and antibiotics which gave him temporary relief.  However, his bronchitis would recur.  After the first treatment with Dr. Tong, his bronchitis was irradicated without the use of any inhalers or antibiotics.  He also no longer had any shoulder or neck pain.  After his 2nd treatment, he had no back pain.

Neck Pain, Shoulder Pain, Rotator Cuff Pain, Wrist Pain, Joint pain, Menstrual Cramps, Irregular Menstruation, Allergies, Asthma - Laura (see # 204 6-4-05, from Los Angeles) works for an entertainment production company.  Her husband's neck pain was successfully treated by Dr. Tong.  He is also emotionally happier and looks younger now.  Laura has been suffering from irregular periods/cramps since she began menstruation.  Her gynecologist put her on the pill, but she felt that the hormones were making her crazy.  Her physician even suggested a hysterectomy at age 36!  She also had shoulder pain for almost 20 years, where the pain would radiate to her neck with calcifications in both shoulders and dealt with terrible allergies all her life.  After treatments with Dr. Tong, she has had no cramps since then, and she is about to start her period.  Her shoulder pain was almost completely improved and her allergies were gone after the first treatment.  She is also emotionally more stable now and does not cry as easily.  Her allergy problem recurred slightly, but not to the extent it was before.  She plans to continue treatments with Dr. Tong.
