High Blood Pressure, Blurry Eyes, Side Effects from Blood Pressure Medication - decreased energy, wheezing, Anxiety Attack - Lorraine (from Rosmore, CA) was helped by Dr. Tong with her blurry vision last year. Six months ago, she was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was put on 3 different medications including a calcium channel blocker and beta blocker.  Her blood pressure was controlled, but the side effects from her medication were unbearable.  She had decreased energy which progressively got worse over the 6 months she was medicated.  Then she developed wheezing to the point that she could not breathe.  She went to the ER and got CXR, EKG which were both negative.  The ER doctor told her she had an anxiety attack and prescribed Xanax for her.  Still, she had difficulty breathing at night and would wake up frequently throughout the night.  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, the next night, she slept through the night without wheezing for the first time in many weeks.  She decided to discontinue 2 of her hypertension medications.  Overall, she is feeling much better and will continue treatments with Dr. Tong to decrease her blood pressure.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Neck Pain, Chronic Headache, Low Back Pain, Depression - Diana was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 1983.  She was always tired and had intense pain especially in her neck and back.  She also suffered from frequent headaches and depression.  Her doctors only prescribed medication and told her to stay away from stress.  She has been seeing Dr. Tong now for 3 years periodically and her condition is much improved.  Her energy has improved and her pain has decreased significantly.  She hopes to work on her diet now.

Flu, Left Knee Pain, Low Back Pain, Constipation, Bloating, Food Allergies, Depression, Fatigue - Mark (see #162 7-24-04, #182 12-18-04 from San Clemente, CA) This 40 year old Caucasian male has been struggling with his health in the last 5-8 years.  He had orthoscopic surgery on his left knee 8 years ago for a torn meniscus.  However, after the surgery, he tore the meniscus once again.  He also has had a very sensitive digestive system in the last 5 years.  Anything he ate would cause severe bloating, pain, and fatigue.  After 7-8 treatments with Dr. Tong, he has no more knee pain, no pain after eating, and his energy has increased tremendously.  He is now surfing again, which he has not done in 5 years.  He also lost 11 pounds and is looking younger than he has in the last 10 years and feeling great.  Six weeks ago, Mark caught the flu.  Everyone at his work was also sick with flu-like symptoms.  He could feel the symptoms in his chest and sinuses.  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, his sinuses cleared up, his energy increased, and his symptoms were gone.

Knee Pain, Shoulder Pain, Neck Pain, UTI, Low Back Pain, Hip Pain, Depression - Frances (from Arizona) was hit on the left knee by an elevator 18 years ago.  She has seen a chiropractor for the past 18 years which has helped somewhat.  However, now she has also developed right knee pain.  Frances also suffered from constant left shoulder and neck pain after an injury against a door.  Chiropractic adjustment to alleviate the pain lasts only one day.  She has also suffered from low back pain for quite some time.  The only other form of treatment she has tried is Excedrin, which ended up giving her stomach ulcers.  After 3 treatments with Dr. Tong, her pain was much improved.
Low Back Pain, Bipolar Disorder, Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension - Karl (Frances' husband) has had chronic back pain for the past 20 years.  The pain has gotten worse over the years.  He has had MRI's done but nothing was found to be wrong with him.  His pain is so bad that he cannot do any work, while the pain radiates down to his hips.  He has been going to a chiropractor twice a month, which has helped reduce his pain.  Karl was also diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and was put on Seroquel.  His diabetes has also left him with neuropathy especially in the left ball of his foot.  He was taking Hydrocodone for the pain, but has quit because of risk of addiction.  After 3 treatments with Dr. Tong, Karl is without pain.  After his first treatment with Dr. Tong, he was able to sleep flat on his back without pain, which he could not do for the past 20 years.  His neuropathy is also improving and his mood has stabilized considerably.  He feels well and is not taking any medication for his bipolar disorder.
Neck Pain, Right Shoulder pain, Right Arm, Hand, Thumb pain and Numbness, Allergies, Asthma, Shortness of Breath - Pat (Karl's brother-in-law) is obese and suffered 2 major auto accidents.  These accidents left him with cranial damage to his right arm.  He also has not been able to walk for a long time due to his heaviness.  After treatments with Dr. Tong, he walked over a mile with pain or shortness of breath.  His allergies and asthma have also improved.

Chronic Abdominal Pain, Right Shoulder and Hip/Sciatic Pain, Non-healing Ulcer, Low Energy -  Carlah (see #166 8-21-04, from Thousand Oaks, CA) suffered from chronic abdominal pain as a result of adhesions from past surgeries for the past 14 years.  Her pain is usually accompanied by vomiting, sweating, and diarrhea. She has been hospitalized 1-2 times per month for the past 2 years for hydration and pain management of her abdominal pain. Acupuncture treatments have been somewhat helpful, but she has not been able to get significant relief.  Carla also suffered from right shoulder and hip pain for the past 2 months from playing softball.  She tried taking Motrin, but did not get any relief at all.  After one treatment from Dr. Tong, her abdominal pain was 20 % better and she no longer had any shoulder or hip pain!  She has also been able to sleep better.  Carlah has now been receiving treatments from Dr. Tong for 2 months now and has not had one hospitalization for her stomach pain.  The abdominal pain is much improved and her ulcer has healed.  Now she has no hip or shoulder pain.

CVA Left Sided Weakness and Cold Intolerance, Left Hip Pain, Incontinence, Insomnia, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes Mellitus - George (from Bakersfield) suffered from a stroke 5 years ago and as a result has left sided weakness, cold intolerance, and pain when he walks.  He had a couple weeks of rehab therapy after his stroke, which did little to help his condition.  George also suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes, and incontinence.  He has been prescribed medication for these problems.  After 3 treatments from Dr. Tong, he is walking much better and with much less pain.  He finds that he can also focus and concentrate better on his bridge game.

Bilateral Shoulder Pain, Right Arm Pain, Headaches, Leg pain, Neck pain - Martha has been suffering from shoulder pain for the last 2 1/2 years.  She fell coming up a flight of stairs and dislocated her shoulder.   X-rays at the hospital showed 3 chips and a right shoulder dislocation.  She also had a MRI and CT scan which showed a severe proximal humerus.  Her doctor recommended surgery and told her that she would have very limited range of motion without it.  She decided against it and instead had her shoulder "set" by her physician 3 times.  This process was extremely painful for her.  Her arm was put in a sling and she had severe pain.  She then tried physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, heating pads, and one treatment of prolotherapy, which caused her arm to breakout.  The other forms of therapy gave her only temporary relief.  She heard Dr. Tong on the radio.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she immediately felt better and could raise both her arms the same height without strain or pain.  She also suffered from headaches, leg pain, fear, and anxiety.  All of these symptoms were also greatly alleviated. 
Stress, Muscle Spasms -  Damien (from Costa Mesa) suffers from muscle spasms for 15 years from stress.  Treatments with Dr. Tong have relaxed his muscle spasm greatly.  His energy is also greatly improved.
Raynaud's Phenomenon, Depression, Back Pain, Low Energy, Spontaneous Pneumothorax - Jacob (see #202 5-21-05, from West Hollywood, CA) This film maker suffers from cold intolerance in his hands and feet.  His doctor's diagnosed him with Raynaud's Phenomenon, for which they told him to dress more warmly and to overdose on Niacin so that he could be warmer.  He was wearing gloves and hat to sleep from being cold.  He also had back pain and was generally very low in energy and depressed.  He heard about Dr. Tong through the radio and decided to try his treatment.  Almost instantly, he was feeling much warmer and he was also feeling much happier, as a side effect, which he did not expect.  Jacob also suffered from spontaneous pneumothorax and had shortness of breath for a day.  He went to the emergency room and told him he had a collasped lung.  They observed him for a couple of days and he did not feel much better (his bill was $12,000!!)  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, he instantly could breathe better.
