Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Baker's Cyst, Migraines, Allergies, Back Pain, Neck Pain, Depression, Fatigue - Vicki (see #98 11-30-02, #106 2-8-03, #126 7-12-03, #197 4-16-05 from Lancaster, CA) - Last October, Vicki, a 3rd grade teacher, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome.  The pain caused her much depression and she was on up to 10 different medications at one time.  She then became even more fatigued from side effects of the medication.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she felt as if a big weight had been lifted off her shoulders and her muscles. She felt happier and more relaxed.  She also suffered from migraines and allergies.  She has not had a migraine headache ever since and she has not taken her allergy medications.  She was on 14 different medications at one time and she tried to wean herself off of them.  After Dr. Tong's first treatment, she went off all of her medication.  In fact, she had no withdrawal symptoms at all.  She has continued to improve since then.  She is happier and can function without pain.

Vision Problems, Digestive Problems, Sports Injury, Arm/Shoulder Pain, Depression - Michael (see #127 7-19-03, #130 8-9-03, #199 4-30-05 from Idyllwild) - This sales and marketing executive had perfect 20/20 vision.  A few years ago, his vision went dim and weak.  His digestion was also progressively deteriorating and he suffered from tendonitis from a sports injury.  After 2 treatments with Dr. Tong, his eyes became completely normal and his other symptoms are slowly improving.  Micheal's vision now has improved beyond 20/20 and can see details that are at a considerable distance.  Michael's wife, Barbara, also came to see Dr. Tong for arm/shoulder pain and depression.  Her arm pain has improved dramatically and she has been able to cope with her depression even after a considerable stress in her life.
Chronic Abdominal Pain, Right Shoulder Pain, Leg Pain - Carlah (see #173 10-16-04, from Thousand Oaks, CA) suffered from chronic abdominal pain as a result of adhesions from past surgeries for the past 14 years.  Her pain is usually accompanied by vomiting, sweating, and diarrhea. She would need monthly visits to the hospital for hydration and pain management. Acupuncture treatments have been somewhat helpful, but she has not been able to get significant relief.  Carla also suffered from right shoulder and hip pain for the past 2 months from playing softball.  She tried taking Motrin, but did not get any relief at all.  After one treatment from Dr. Tong, her abdominal pain was 20 % better and she no longer had any shoulder or hip pain!  She has also been able to sleep better.
Chest Pain, GERD, Costochondritis, Fatigue, Memory Loss - Carol (from Long Beach, CA) had a heart attack 2 years ago and had to have a stent put into her heart.  Since then she has had complaints of chest pain.  She feels a constant discomfort under her sternum bone.  She also had problems with digestion and lack of energy.  After 2 treatments with Dr. Tong, she is feeling like a new person.  She no longer has the chest pain and her energy has increased significantly.

Low Back Pain, Right Knee Pain, Thrombocytopenia, Left Sided Weakness from Stroke, Depression, Cataracts - Judie (see #163 7-31-04, from Escondido, Ca) This 61 year old Caucasian female had a stroke 5 years ago which caused her to have left sided weakness, numbness, and pain ever since.  She also complained of low back pain and right knee pain.  Three years ago, she was diagnosed with a low platelet count.  She had a bone marrow biopsy, spleen scan, and blood work done, which all came back negative.  She went to the Mayo Clinic where doctors wanted to take out part of her spleen.  All of the above caused Judie to become extremely depressed to the point where she could not get out of bed.  After 2 treatments with Dr. Tong, she has no more pain.  She does not need to drink wine and take a SOMA in the afternoon anymore.  She is also able to wear her shoes on her left foot now without taping them to her foot.  The strength is gradually coming back to her left side.  Most importantly, she is no longer depressed.  Judie's platelets are now slowly coming up from 42,000 to 59,000.  Her eyesight is also improving - she can see without her glasses now!!
Chest Pain (sternum, clavicle, neck, cervical pain), Shortness of Breath, Left Shoulder Pain, Low Back Pain, Type 2 Diabetes, TMJ, Stress, Fatigue - Karen (see #155 5-15-04 #158 6-19-04, from Dana Point, CA) has come back to us after 2 months free of chest pain.  She previously had 5 treatments for her costochondritis and was feeling so good that she overdid it.  After one treatment, she had no chest pain, the pain between her shoulder blades has decreased, and she could take deep breaths again.  She is feeling like a new person again!

Left Knee Pain, Muscle Pain, Plantar Fasciitis (heel pain) - Darrell (from Pasadena, CA) - This 66 year old Caucasian male complains of left knee pain which started 6 months ago and left foot plantar fasciitis which started one year ago.  He tried prolotherapy, cortisone injections, and ultrasonic, which only gave him temporary relief. He could not walk or hike (which is a favorite past time of his) for over a year.  After 4 treatments with Dr. Tong, he hiked uphill 5 1/2 miles with very little pain, only slight soreness.  He is now training for Half Dome in Yosemite and emotionally doing very well.
Leg Pain, Back Pain, Lypoma, Candida, Chronic Fatigue, Tinea Pedis, Nightblindness, Fear, Depression - Cheri (see # 13 12-6-00, #20 2-10-01, #43 7-28-01, #79 5-18-02, #95 11-2-02 #161 7-10-04, from Henderson, Nevada)  Cheri has returned for recurrence of her leg pain from increased stress due to her business.  She had been virtually symptom free for two years since she first started seeing Dr. Tong.  Her leg pain was once again improved after 3 treatments with Dr. Tong.  She has also lost 5 pounds since starting her flax seed regimen.  Mark, Cheri's husband, is also doing better after 2 treatments with Dr. Tong for profuse sweating.
