Lower Back Pain, Leg Pain, Arthritis, Right Knee Pain, Spinal Stenosis - Albert (see #142 11-29-03, #160 7-3-04) has suffered from severe lower back pain and leg pain for the last 2 years.  He was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and had a barrage of tests done such as MRI and X-rays.  He has pain when he is standing, sitting, or walking, leaving him virtually immobile for the last 2 years  He has had several epidurals and was on a plethora of anti-inflammatories all to no avail.  He heard Dr. Tong on the radio and decided to try his treatment, although he was skeptical.  He had his first treatment 4 days ago and his pain is now gone.  That same day he went fishing and walked a quarter of a mile with all of his fishing gear without any pain for the first time in 2 years.  He is now walking up hills and everywhere without pain.
Severe Sinus Problems, Facial Nerve problems, Bell's Palsy, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Chest Pain, Ataxia, Diplopia - Victoria - (from California) - This registered nurse has experienced facial pain mostly on the right side for the last 25 years.  Within the last year, her condition worsened.  She consulted doctors and went through a slew of tests which all came back normal.  Her condition was so bad that she could not move or walk and was wheelchair bound for 8 weeks.  Her left eye would get stuck in an upward lateral gaze, she started seeing double, she had pain in her eyes, and could not drive.  She was bumping into walls and could not read.  By the time she called Dr. Tong, she told him that she wanted to buy and gun and kill herself from all the pain.  After 2 treatments from Dr. Tong, she is doing much better.  Her eyes can move together now, her pain has subsided substantially, her balance is much better, she is reading now, and she can go back to work.  She is also mentally and emotionally more balanced and happier, without the suicidal ideation.

Scleroderma, CREST syndrome, Fatigue, Weight Loss, Infections, Gangrenous Finger - Doreen (from West Covina) - Doreen was diagnosed with scleroderma almost 10 years ago when she was 17 years old.  She was getting infections in her fingers, her skin was becoming tight and taut, and she would wake up in the morning very sore.  She couldn't even get out of bed she was in so much pain.  Her doctors thought that she could have bursitis (arthritis in the hips)  After tests, it was confirmed that she had scleroderma and CREST syndrome.  She saw 6 rheumatologists, who gave her medication such as Vicodin, steroids, and morphine.  She was on steroids for 3 years which caused her to develop osteoporosis.  Doreen was recommended by her OB-GYN to see Dr. Tong.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she was able to discontinue her Vicodin (she was taking 6-8 pills).  After the 3rd treatment, she was off her morphine and steroids.  Now her energy level is greatly improved.  She can get up in the morning and stay up without having to take a nap.  The pain in her hands is much better.  One of her fingers was so infected that it was gangrenous.  Her doctor wanted to amputate her finger, but after Dr. Tong's treatment, the skin underneath the gangrenous skin is growing back.  She has also gained some weight.  Before seeing Dr. Tong she was down to 77 pounds.  In two weeks she has gained 10 pounds, and is almost back to her normal weight.  Doreen was always tired, very mad, very snappy, and very angry.  After treatments with Dr. Tong, she is much happier, her voice is softer, and she has more life.
Severe Headaches, Knee Pain, Loss of Motivation, Loss of Appetite, Insomnia, Depression - Bill (from Portland, Oregon) - Suffered from severe headaches for 4 years and knee pain for the last 3 years from a rugby injury. He was told that he had tears in his right knee and every doctor that he consulted wanted him to get surgery (12 doctors).  Bill's father heard Dr. Tong on the radio and told him to consult Dr. Tong.  After his first treatment with Dr. Tong, he was astounded at how much better he felt.  He was extremely impressed by the fact that he no longer had any pain in his knee.  His headaches now are very minimal and he does not wake up with the headaches anymore.  To date he has had 2 treatments with Dr. Tong.  In the past he was depressed.  Now he feels energized, he wants to do things, and he is not depressed anymore.
Arthritis, Diabetic Neuropathy - Albert - (from Long Beach) - Albert is one of Dr. Tong's patients.  He suffered from arthritis (10-15 years) and diabetic neuropathy (7 years).  He has now had 3 treatments with Dr. Tong.  His pain is much improved, he has more energy.  The medication he was on in the past caused other side effects.  He had problems with he feet, he had cramps in his legs and thighs.  He had joint problems in his knees hips, and back from the arthritis.  Now he can walk and has greater range of motion with any pain.

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Shortness of Breath, Cough, Mucus, Lower Back Pain, Acid Reflux, Nocturia - Betty (from South Dakota, see #133 8-30-03) - Follow up from last week - Betty can walk even faster and longer without shortness of breath.  She is at ease much more now, with no anxiety.  She is now off all of her medication and inhalers.  In the past, she had a difficult time climbing up and down stairs but now she can walk up a dozen steps 3-4 times without having to catch her breath.  She is doing much better on the whole.  In the fall of 1999, Betty began experiencing shortness of breath.  She consulted an M.D. in the spring of 2000 and was put on an inhaler for 6 months.  The inhaler failed to relieve her symptoms. A pulmonary specialist then diagnosed her with pulmonary fibrosis.  The specialist added Prednisone, one more inhaler, and a nebulizer.  Three months later, her symptoms worsened.  She had her house tested for toxins, but the results were negative.  She had an appointment at Mayo Clinic, but at the suggestion of her son, she decided instead to come to California to consult Dr. Tong.  She has now had 2 treatments with Dr. Tong.  Before the first treatment was even over, she could mechanically take a deep breath.  Now she does not cough, she sleeps better, she does not have to get up at night to urinate, and she has more energy.  Her back pain is gone and she has no acid reflux. 
Knee Problems, Rheumatiod Arthritis, Snoring - Alvin (from South Dakota) - Alvin, Betty's husband has had knee problems and rhematoid arthritis for many years.  After one treatment, he could already feel much improvement.
