Restless Leg Syndrome, Back Pain, Nocturia, Astigmatism, Stronger Immunity - Edgar (see #116 5-3-03) came to the United States from the Phillipines 3 years ago.  The stress of finding a job and adjusting to living in a new country caused him to develop Restless Leg Syndrome, back pain, and nocturia.  He could not stop moving his legs which caused him to have problems sleeping at night and he would have to wake up numerous times at night to urinate.  He went to an HMO doctor, who did nothing to help.  He also tried acupuncture which also did not help.  After 2 treatments with Dr. Tong, his symptoms have significantly improved.  He slept through the night for 5 hours and did not get up to urinate once.  He is breathing better.  Edgar also had an astigmatism which has improved with Dr. Tong's treatment.  He states that he could immediately see clearer as Dr. Tong was treating him.  Edgar recently went to the Phillipines for 2 weeks and was afraid to go because of the SARS epidemic.  Dr. Tong reassured him that he would be fine because of the treatments he was receiving.  Sure enough, he spent the whole time there without wearing a mask and came back to the states in good health.
Rash, Swollen Hands, Headache, Shoulder Pain - Kay received 3 treatments from Dr. Tong a year ago for treatment of a rash and red and swollen hands.  She had previously consulted dermatologists who prescribed creams and steroids, all to no avail.  Since Dr. Tong's treatments, she has not had the rash.  Dr. Tong also helped Kay with her headaches and shoulder pain, while emphasizing the importance of eating the right foods.

Rotator Cuff Injury, Vertigo - Craig (from Indiana) is a retired airline pilot who knew of Dr. Tong's treatment 15 years ago when he was treating his wife, Judy for Failed Back Surgery Syndrome.  Craig suffered from a left rotator cuff injury 10 years ago.  He had shoulder pain and numb fingers.  The doctors and chiropractors that he consulted could do nothing for his pain.  After 6 treatments with Dr. Tong, he has not had left shoulder pain for 10 years.  He returned to Dr. Tong a couple months ago because now his right shoulder has a torn rotator cuff.  Dr. Tong has alleviated the sharp pain in his shoulder and Craig is confident that a few more treatments will leave him pain free.  Dr. Tong has also treated Craig for his vertigo.  Craig has also lost weight on the Atkins diet.  Dr. Tong comments on the pros and cons of the Atkins diet.
Low Back Pain, Neck Pain, Left Elbow Pain - Jeff (from Los Angeles) has suffered from lower back pain for 5 years, left elbow pain for the last year, and severe neck pain for the past 6 months. He did not seek counsel with any other physicians or chiropractors because he felt that they did not have much to offer him.  He has had one treatment with Dr. Tong and his neck pain is now gone.  He still has slight discomfort in his back but is confident that it will improve.

Sciatica Pain, Low Back Pain, Spontaneous Nosebleeds - Jackie (from Long Beach) has suffered from sciatica pain and low back pain for over a year.  Her pain was so excruciating at times that she had to crawl on the floor.  She consulted chiropractors, therapists, tried different eating programs, all to no avail.  After her first treatment with Dr. Tong, she walked out of the office without pain.  Dr. Tong also helped her with her spontaneous nosebleeds.

Lupus, Joint Pain, Depression, Anxiety, Acne - Jennifer (from Orange County, CA) who works at Well's Fargo Bank started noticing inflamed fingers and toes when she was 15 years old.  Doctors did numerous tests on her, which all came out negative (including Lupus, Scleroderma, Raynaud's disease).  They told her there was nothing wrong with her, even though her digits were turning purple.  Her toes and fingers were beginning to swell and she was feeling horrible.  Then a year ago, she developed a red rash that looked like a pimple that was very big on her nose, which did not disappear.  She got a biopsy done on it and was told that she had exterior Lupus (even though the Lupus test was negative).  She was put on medication and consequently became depressed, angry, and would just start crying.  Anti-depressants made her fatigued and she began having black circles around her eyes and started breaking out.  After Dr. Tong's first treatment, even though she was skeptical, her attitude completely changed.  She was not as cold anymore, she was less anxious, less angry, and could cope with every day life much easier.  Recently, she had lab results back and found out she had an internal positive lupus test, high liver enzymes, and low thyroid.  She received another treatment and is feeling much better.
Renal Disease, Hypertension, Arthritis, Neck Pain, Upper Back Pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Edema, History of Heart Attack - Mike (see #122 6-14-03, from San Gabriel, CA) is a retired carpet cleaner.  Mike suffered from a renal disease and has been on medication for 3 years now and was told that he would have to take it for the rest of his life.  He also had high blood pressure which caused his kidney disease. He suffered from arthritis in hands and neck, diagnosed with CTS, and had a history of heart attack.  Edema and swelling in his legs and ankles brought him to the doctor, who gave him Lasix for his symptoms.  After his first treatment from Dr. Tong 3 days ago, the pain in his neck and upper back was greatly improved (more range of motion).  His nocturia has also improved.  
Heart Palpitations, Back Pain, Melancholy, Sadness Jeanne (see #106 2-8-03, #110 3-15-03, from Palmdale, CA) This 3rd grade teacher came to see Dr. Tong because of problems with heart palpitations and back pain.  Within Dr. Tong's first 2  treatments she had more mobility, range of motion, and fluidity in her movement. She was more comfortable and had more energy. She subsequently consulted Dr. Tong for emotional problems after receiving news that her friend in Australia was terminally ill.  Dr. Tong guaranteed to her that after her treatment, she would feel much better.  To her amazement, as she was ready to leave, her emotional weight was lifted.  She then planned a trip to Australia to visit her friend and was emotionally healthy throughout.  Her mother then passed away 2 months later and with the help of Dr. Tong's treatment, she was able to speak at the funeral while maintaining her emotional health.

Sinus Problems, Ovarian Cyst, Irregular Periods - Leslie is a teacher who is very sensitive to drugs.  She has had sinus problems for 3 years but could not get any help because of her sensitivity.  The side effects from the antibiotics would make her even sicker.  She also had a cyst in her left ovary which was painful and irregular periods. She has had 3 treatments from Dr. Tong, and her sinuses have cleared up and she has no pain in her ovary.  Her menstruation cycle has also been regulated.  Her previous physician had suggested putting Leslie on oral contraceptives.  Dr. Tong explains the fallacy of birth control pills.
Pelvic Pain, Pain with Intercourse, Hormonal Imbalance, Irregular Periods, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Hirsutism, Alopecia, Back Pain, Feet Pain, Fatigue - (Andrea, see # 89 9-7-02, #161 7-10-04, #184 1-8-05 from Rancho Cucamonga) - This 3rd year medical student from Western University of Health Sciences has suffered from irregular periods for 10 years and pelvic pain as well as painful intercourse for 2 years.  She consulted 3 doctors including a gynecologist who diagnosed her with polycystic ovarian syndrome.  She had cysts all over her ovaries, which were causing her much pain.  She was put on birth control, which regulated her period, but did nothing to help her pain.  She has had 2 treatments with Dr. Tong in September of 2002 and her pain is now completely gone.  It has been 7 months since Andrea has seen Dr. Tong and she is back for treatment of fatigue, back pain, and pain at the bottom of her feet.  She was recently on a clinical rotation where she had to use her hands extensively, which she thinks has caused her fatigue and back pain.  After one treatment with Dr. Tong, her energy was rejuvenated and she no longer has back pain.  Dr Tong explains that Andrea's kidneys were affected which were causing her symptoms.
