Shoulder Pain, Neck Pain, Lower Back Pain, Chronic TMJ, Eye Problems, Tachycardia, Tension Headaches, Anxiety, Mild Depression, Chiropractors - Jeanne (from Palmdale, CA) - Jeanne is a 3rd grade teacher who was referred to Dr. Tong by her friend Vicki, who received tremendous help from Dr. Tong's treatments. (see #98 11-30-02, #106 2-8-03, #117 5-10-03) She has been suffering from acute intermittent shoulder and neck pain since 1989 and has been going to a chiropractor once a month for the past 6 years for her shoulder, neck, and lower back pain.  In November of 2002, she consulted Dr. Tong.  After his treatments, Jeanne had more energy, her whole body felt lighter, and she felt more rested.  Her pain was alleviated after the first or second treatment, she could exercise, slept better, and felt her overall health improve.  However, after hearing that her friend from Australia was terminally ill in January, she fell into a deep depression and had trouble focusing.  She had decided to see Dr. Tong because she felt so terrible.  Everything made her cry and she was an emotional wreck.  Dr. Tong told her that after the treatment, she would start to feel better.  Skeptical as she was, she started to feel her spirits lift when she was leaving the office.  In fact, her depression lifted to the point that Jeanne was able to fly out to Australia and visit her friend.  She is now coping with the news better.
Glaucoma, Laser Surgery - Kinu (caller from Glendale) - January of last year, Kinu's opthalmologist found that the pressure in her left eye was up to 28.  She was put on drops for a few months and then underwent laser treatment.  Her eye pressure went down to 14.  However, in January, the pressure went up to 29 and this time, her doctor decided to approach the problem with a more aggressive laser therapy.  This time after the laser treatment, her eye pressure went up to 30.  Dr. Tong explains the fallacy of this approach to treating glaucoma.
Sinusitis - Cris (caller from Encinitas) - Cris has been suffering from Sinusitis for over 20 years.
Back pain, Shoulder Pain, Hypertension, High Cholesterol - Ron (Patient of Dr. Tong's calling from Granada Hills)  Ron speaks of how Dr. Tong has greatly improved all of his pain and symptoms.

Chronic Back Pain, Neck Pain, Dizziness, Fatigue, Depression, Nocturia, Insomnia, Anxiety, Panic Attack - Art (see #106 2-8-03, #146 2-7-04 from Escondido, CA) - Art is a payroll manager and delivers payroll, which requires a lot of physical strength.  He has suffered from chronic back pain for eight years. He also has problems breathing as well as dizziness.  He has had neck pain for several months from a car accident (October 2002), where he was hit from behind at 90 miles per hour.  He suffered whiplash and his back pain was exacerbated.  He went to countless doctors, but did not receive any relief from them.  He has heard Dr. Tong's radio show for 6 months now and finally decided to try his treatments.  After the first treatment, Dr. Tong relieved much of his pain.  He now has no neck pain and his dizziness is gone.  He always felt like he was suffocating but now he can breathe deeply again.  His back is now more flexible after the second treatment and he is pain free. After the second treatment, his improvement was more rapid and the pain from Dr. Tong's injections was much less. He has had a third treatment from Dr. Tong, and his back pain is slowly improving.  
Trigeminal Neuralgia, Tongue and Facial Numbness - Famico (from Gardena, Ca/retired) Suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia for 15 years.  She has also had two sessions of radiation to her brain to try and destroy some of the nerve cells.  She had one year free of pain after each procedure.  However, after the second session, her doctors found a benign tumor in her brain which they also destroyed with radiation.  After this procedure, she had numbness on her tongue and the right side of her face from nerve damage.  She has also tried acupuncture which did nothing for her and homeopathy which helped her for 4 months.  Famico first came to see Dr. Tong in February and was disappointed after the first treatment because her pain became worse.  She came a second time and after her treatment, the constant burning pain in her face was gone.  She has had a third treatment and now she has no pain in her face.

Tinnitus (ringing in ear), Nocturia, Urgency (urination) - Beverly (caller from Huntington Beach)  This registered nurse has suffered from high pitched ringing in her ears for the past 6-7 years.  Dr. Tong explains that her root problem is caused by deficient circulation and energy in her kidney and bladder.
Fatigue, Anxiety, Weight Loss, Depression - Steward (from Utah) Stewart is a successful distributor of nutritional products.  He has been healthy all his life and has always had tremendous energy (skiing 7 days a week after working all day).  However, in December of 2002, the patient went on a trip to Korea and suddenly became ill.  He also experienced energy loss.  Approximately one week later, he was concerned with his health because his energy was not rejuvenated.  He went to see a general practitioner and was told to get some sleep because he was most likely sleep deprived. He was also prescribed sleeping pills which did not help.  Although he had anxiety, his blood work indicated no abnormalities.  He decided to see an osteopath and the test indicated that he had adrenal fatigue.  He was given adrenocortisone injections and B complex shots once a week.  He showed some improvement after 3-4 weeks.  However, it was temporary.  He was then referred to Dr. Tong by James (see #4 9-30-00, #85 8-10-02, #94 10-12-02).  He consulted Dr. Tong and has received a total of 6 treatments in the past 2 weeks, commuting from Utah to California once a week.  Stewart has found tremendous improvement after Dr. Tong's treatments.  Not only does he have his energy back, but he also has zest and enthusiasm for living.  He has also taken Dr. Tong's nutritional advice which has also given him improvement in his health. 
Liver Cysts - Nadine (caller from Buena Park) Nadine had cysts in her liver which were inflamed and were drained 5 months ago.  However, she can start to feel the cysts filling up with fluid again.  Dr. Tong explains why draining her cysts is the wrong thing to do.
Pemphigus, Knee Pain - Max (caller from Costa Mesa) - Max is currently a patient of Dr. Tong's who has been on Prednisone for Pemphigus.  He wants to taper off his prednisone because of the severe side effects from the medication.
