Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Muscle Spasms, Leg Cramps, Growth Spurt, Weight Gain - James (see #4 9-30-00, #85 8-10-02, #94 10-12-02, #132 8-23-03  from Salt Lake City, Utah) This self-employed business man was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome 7 years ago.  He consulted the normal channels of medicine and received x-rays, went through a barrage of tests, CT scans.  The doctors only gave him medication which did not help.  After 2-3 treatments with Dr. Tong, he had remarkable improvement and has been well ever since.  Dr. Tong's treatment also helped him with his knee, thigh, and ankle problems.  Dr. Tong also helped James' 15 year old son Kevin (see #85 8-10-02, #94 10-12-02, #132 8-23-03), a cross country runner with severe muscle spasms and cramping in his legs.  Kevin is small for his size and was considered a late-bloomer.  James took him to the University of Utah's Primary Children's hospital, but to no avail.  They ran a multitude of tests but had no idea what was wrong with him  After a few treatments with Dr. Tong, Kevin has been able to run again without pain or cramping.  He went to a national meet in North Carolina and placed 9th place out of 450 runners whereas before Dr. Tong's treatments, he could not even work out.  This year (2003) Kevin's running team won the national championship and he placed 10th.  When he first came to see Dr. Tong, he was 5' 3".  Since seeing Dr. tong, he has grown 2 1/2 inches!   This has also helped his running.  He has more strength and he feels incredible.  Yesterday, he ran one mile in 4 minutes and 46 seconds.

Low Back Pain, Pain Killers (Naprosin), Depression - Jim has suffered from lower back pain for the past 15 years from diminshed L5, S1 disc. He tried pain killers such as Naprosin, as well as muscle relaxers, which did not handle the pain permanently.  He was afraid to move too much and had to guard against certain movements for fear of hurting himself.  After three treatments with Dr. Tong, he is virtually pain free.  Jim was also somewhat depressed and withdrawn from the pain.  He now feels emotionally better and much happier and socially open. 
Bowel Obstruction, Constipation, Depression Jenny (see #75 4-13-02, #94 10-12-02, #128 6-28-03, #140 11-15-03) Kandra's daughter had an obstruction in her bowel and had a natural bowel movement for the first time yesterday.  She was also suicidal and depressed.  Now after Dr. Tong's treatments, she is no longer depressed and looks forward to getting treatments.  She is also working out more and getting healthier.

Fatigue, Tachychardia, Right Foot Pain, Numb Heel, Fear, Anxiety, Lack of Concentration, Eye Infection, Hair Loss, Night Sweats, Rash, Hormonal Problems, Sinus problems, Depression, Hiatal Hernia, Colon Problems, Disturbed Sleep - Jody, from Irvine, is a kitchen manager for an elementary school.  At 53, she felt that she was already experiencing a multitude of health problems.  She was always tired to the point she could not function.  She had a fast heart beat that came on about three years ago.  She had right foot pain, a numb heel, she was fearful, anxious, and had lack of concentration.  She also had eye infections, hair loss, night sweats, rash on her arm, hormonal problems, sinus problems, depression, hiatal hernia, colon problems, and disturbed sleep.  Her problems have been progressively coming on for the past few years.  She had one main doctor but did little to help her problems.  After her first treatment from Dr. Tong, after four days, she woke up and she could breathe again for the first time (she has always been a shallow breather).  She could concentrate, she felt connected, she had energy.  Her foot pain is gone and she now rarely needs to take her medication for her fast heart beat.  She is also more in control of her fear and anger.  Her hair loss is getter better.  Her nails are not as soft.
Migraine Headaches, Low Energy, Ulcers, Fibromyalgia, Generalized Pain - Cheryl, from Newport Heights, suffered from debilitating migraine headaches for over 10 years.  She was also stressed and over medicated, where she got rebound headaches from the other headaches.  She had low energy, ulcers, fibromyalgia, excruciating pain.  After seeing Dr. Tong, her headaches are less frequent and less intense.  She is now on no narcotic medication, thanks to Dr. Tong.  Cheryl was also very emotional and depressed.  Now she is happier and she has mental clarity.

Low Back Pain, Left Knee Pain, Sciatica, Restless Sleep - Paul is an airline pilot from Corona del Mar, CA who has been suffering from chronic lower back pain, sciatica, and left knee pain for the past 5 years.  The nature of his job made his pain worse, as he would sit for long periods of time.  He played a lot of tennis and had to give up his golf game because he could not rotate his spine.  He has also had restless sleep as a result of the back pain and would wake up tired.  He consulted a chiropractor which temporarily helped his pain but the pain would always return.  He also had 2 arthroscopies on his left knee and tried orthotics which did nothing to help his pain.  He was prescribed numerous pain pills but did not believe in taking a lot of medication.  He finally tried 10 treatments of acupuncture, which also only provided symptomatic relief.  Three weeks ago, he heard Dr. Tong's radio show and decided to see him.  After his first treatment with Dr. Tong, his lower back pain was gone and he could sleep well.  In fact he was playing tennis again after this treatment and played better than he has in five years without pain.   After his second treatment today, he was pain free and not dreading his next nine airline flight to Europe.  He was emotionally invigorated and woke up alert.  
Sinus Headaches, Pressure and Congestion -  Dee is an operations manager from Huntington Beach.  She has suffered from sinus issues for 8 years.  The last four years have been chronic where she would wake up with a sinus headache every day, and could not breathe because of the pressure in her sinuses.  She had to take a tylenol sinus or sudafed just to relieve the pressure.  Dee has had 2 treatments from Dr. Tong and she can breathe now without the use of any medication.  She has not had one headache for 2 weeks.  The last two years she also suffered from recurrent nose bleeds.  Dr. Tong explains that she had too much heat in her lungs from spicy foods.  Ever since she consulted Dr. Tong, she has not had nosebleeds.  She is also emotionally more stable and calm, and wakes up well rested.
Bicycle Injury, Ear Pain, Neck Pain, Vertigo, Dizziness, Dysphagia - Kandra (see #74 4-6-02) fell off her bicycle and onto her head and caused imbalance in her equilibrium.  She could not swallow.  She had severe ear and neck pain and she had vertigo.  She was extremely dizzy and went to the ER.  She was given 20 Vicodin which only helped her pain for about an hour.  She is now pain free after 2 treatments with Dr. Tong.

Neck Pain, Back Pain, Knee Pain, Fatigue, Anxiety, Depression, Lack of Concentration, Forgetfulness, Low Libido, High cholesterol, Low Immune System, Chest Pain, Sinus problems, Allergies, Hypothyroid, Dizziness, Headache, Post-menopausal symptoms, Hormone Replacement, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chiropractor, Weight Gain.  Terri (see # 107 2-22-03, from Laguna Hills) Terri works in a manufacturing department on the UCI campus and has suffered from neck and back pain for over 30 years.  She went to conventional doctors, physical therapists, was prescribed medication, and before seeing Dr. Tong, went regularly (twice weekly) for chiropractic treatments for her pain.  After her very first treatment with Dr. Tong, she had no pain.  She has now had 8 treatments with Dr. Tong.  Her mental clarity is better (she can concentrate), she is not anxious or depressed, and most of her symptoms are virtually gone. She is now off all her medication including thyroid medication (20 years), estrogen replacement (2 years), pain pills (Soma, Flexeril), Librox (for extreme bloating and gas pain- she looked like she was 4-5 months pregnant - with Dr. Tong's treatment her stomach is now almost flat), and antidepressants.  She experienced side effects from the medication including constipation and lack of mental clarity.  Her energy has also greatly improved.
