A SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT FROM A SONG DYNASTY POEM

北宋蔡襄诗,南宋吴琚书

桥畔垂杨下碧溪, 君家元在北穚西.

来时不似人间世, 日暖花香山鸟啼.

Hanging by the bridge is a Willow tree and below it, a turquoise stream;

To the west of the North Bridge is the home of your dream.

It seemed unlike an earthly setting on my way coming,

Admid a warm sun, floral fragrance and birds chirping.

This poem, written by Song dynasty poet Cai, describes the enchanting surrounding of the abode of his friend Chen. Oddly, it also vividly depicts the landscape of my home, which faces west and has a swimming pool on the north side with a bridge across it!

Also, we have planted Pygmy palms (metaphorically the Willows) by the pool, and King palms, Plumeria and Michelia throughout the garden. The lush landscape and flower fragrance simulate the ambience of a charming paradise as portrayed by the poem.

The eerily part is that I designed and built this home before I knew about the poem!

It was later during a trip to China that we serendipitously found a carving of this poem on a marble slab. I fell in love with it and brought it home for the garden. Unfortunately, the slab broke, so I copied the calligraphy and planned to recreate it someday.

Now 30 years later, I have etched this poem on my garden rockscape by the pool, amid warm sun, pretty flowers and chirping birds, just as the poem had described. The poem finding its home is not a coincidence, as I shall explain.

Meanwhile, my education has taken me from physics to combined east/west medicine. From Chinese medicine, I have learned that our existence is both physical and spiritual, which correspond to particle and wave in modern physics.

The critical point is that physical matter is inanimate and becomes disorderly with time, a behavior called entropy in science. The living element is the spirit (mind/soul) composed of energy, qi, that never decay or die – it has the power to keep order (health). This behavior is negative entropy.

For example, body cells decay constantly, and the soul makes new cells with the qi to keep structural integrity. Qi also heals disorders to keep health.

As eastern sages stated: All arises from the Mind, so all is governed in kind.

In other words, all events are orchestrated by the spiritual Mind, so there cannot be any coincidence. Let me further explain this point with science.

Einstein’s E=mc2 shows that spiritual realm is infinite in size, so the physical universe is practically zero in comparison. Since science studies only the physical universe, it knows little about true reality.

Also, virtually all qi vibrates at infinite speed, thus transcending space and time. This is because any distance divided by infinite speed would give 0 time. Hence, qi is also omnipresent.

Without the element of time, the past, present and future all exist at the present moment!

Thus, psychics can “see” future and past events. They can also observe the simultaneous presence of my soul and that of Cai’s, as well as the similar vibrational images of my home and Chen’s dwelling.

So after all, my spirit is aware of this poem and Chen’s abode all the time and has guided me with my garden design!

Let me use numerology to further show that everything is connected and planned by Nature. Numerology links life experiences with numerical numbers 1 to 9. For reference, there is a brief summary of the vibrational meanings of numbers 1 to 9 at the end of this article.

While I was doing my residency in medical school, our house number was 2229, which reduces to the number 6 (2+2+2+9=15, 1+5=6).  I was idealistic and preoccupied with finding a disease cure and serving humanity — which are traits of the number 6.

The house numbers of our next two homes are 2021 and 6512, each of which reduce to 5. I was curious about the meaning of life; the reasons for human diversity, etc. Since I did not believe in using drugs to treat disease, I decided to study anesthesia and Chinese medicine.

Chinese wisdom, which deals with the spiritual realm, cleared up many questions I had about life. I quit my anesthesia practice and focused on treating ailments with nerve blocks and acupuncture, a therapy I call Neuro-BioEnergetics, or NBE.

Around this time, we built our current home with a house number of 16, which reduces to 7, and 7 is associated with being intellectual and spiritual. It is no coincidence that my car license number of 6XYJO91 also numerically reduces to 7!

Moreover, 6 is associated with serving society, leadership, etc. XY is male. JO9 looks like JOY. This could be interpreted as the number 1 male leader who would bring joy to the world.

Indeed, I have brought joy to countless patients who had suffered for years from various ailments until they came to me. Most of the time I gave them instant relief with my NBE treatment.

In a 1996 medical conference, I have presented a study with a synopsis entitled “Chronic Disorders Are Curable with the Neuro-BioEnergetics Treatment.”

It was the only time a western physician has published a study proving that chronic disorders can be cured!

Posted on www.drtong.com are thousands of testimonies from patients with a wide variety of physical and mental ailments. Most of them have tried other therapies to no avail, but felt dramatic relief with their very first NBE treatment!

In summary, spiritual qi is the key to keeping orderly states such as health and peace. A body with enough qi can heal all disorders and stay healthy. (just as a business with enough money would have no problem, as money can be exchanged for repairing qi.)

Because western science is unfamiliar with qi, current research using the material approach will never find a way to cure disorders or restore health.

Moreover, because the spiritual domain has no time element, all vibrations must exist in the neutral balance mode. Therefore, there cannot be complementary opposites of heat or cold, good or evil qi, etc., as such comparison would require an element of time.

Hence, balance is the key to human existence. “As you’ve sowed, so shall you reap” because every action elicits an equal and opposite reaction back to the doer. Einstein’s E=mc2 confirms this by showing that qi, which activates all thoughts and actions, travels in circles.

The result is the supreme Law of Karma, which dictates our lives and destiny on earth.

The biggest Karmic interaction is being played out by the rise of China and the fall of the West. Eight western nations sowed the evil deed during the Opium Wars in the 19th century by invading China and forcing China to buy opium that was illegal in the West!

A huge amount of qi was robbed from China in a century of exploitation, and Nature is returning it to China for a Karmic balance. This explains the incredible ascendance of China from absolute destitute 30 years ago to now the second largest economy in the world!

Unfortunately, modern style of Opium Wars persist. Western nations, led by the US, gang up on weak nations solely to gain self interest. None of the wars were for self defense or sanctioned by the UN.

Millions of innocent lives have been killed, and the Karmic debts are being paid by the invaders. Today the US, England, France and Germany are plagued with problems of senseless violence, terrorism, refugees and illegal aliens as well as declining economies.

After the bombing of Syria by the West on April 13, 2018 for its alleged use of chemical weapons, a slew of US air force non-combat accidents occurred subsequently on April, 13, 15 and 18 with nine people killed in the last one. In addition, a terrorist attack had injured many Frenchmen on April 15 at the Mali military base.

However, the collusion of these rouge nations is falling apart due to their declining economies. Also, an increasing number of countries are skipping the US dollar in their trades. This will result in the  eventual collapse of the Petrodollar and end western hegemony.

I have been aware of the above spiritual ramification for quite a while. Telling my story with the Song poem, however, gives me a sense of spiritual enlightenment.

Finally, the main reason for writing this story is to share the fact of spiritual harmony and Karma. Hopefully, this information would lead to a spiritual awakening and return us to a peaceful world.

PS:

Mathematically, the size of the physical universe is zero compared to the infinite spiritual realm. Western science studies only the physical world, therefore knows little about the truth of our existence.

The living element of our existence is the spiritual part.

“All arises from the Mind” – The physical world is merely an illusion of the Mind, as the creation of everything (body tissues, a dream house, a new book, an event…) all starts with a mental idea or collective thoughts.

Western science is based on the material world, which is entropic and lacks the power to re-establish order. For example, a dead person cannot clean up a messy kitchen, as the order-restoring, negentropic qi is gone at physical death.

A true breakthrough in material medical research will never happen.

Each lifetime is a re-discovery of the self, and eventually you will find out that there is no self, as all souls are inextricably interconnected. Hence, doing good deeds to the grander whole will improve your destiny.

The process of discovering the spiritual truth is called Enlightenment.

Read the similarities of Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy at the very end, you’ll be totally convinced that there is no coincidences, everything is arranged to balance Karma.
